Are you a Revolutionary Studio?
Win $500 for your studio if you are!
A Revolutionary Studio or Team is one that promotes positive changes for
its faculty, teachers, leaders, and students. It provides a self-esteem
building environment that encourages students to reach for their highest
potential and pursue their dreams. It is an organization in which the
teachers and leaders want to make a difference in the students lives while
instructing them not only with their extensive knowledge of dance, but
also with the display of their outstanding character and attitude. Does
this sound like your studio? Let us see why you believe your organization
should be one of our 2007-08 Revolutionary Studio recipients.
The studio or team chosen for this award will receive:
- $500.00 cash prize
- Certificate of recognition
- Your documentary will be played on the BIG screen at the convention
To Enter:
Send us a VHS videocassette or recorded DVD with a documentary of your studio telling and showing us how Dance Revolution has affected your studio/ministry since coming to an event. If you have never attended, show us how it is affecting your studio/ministry even in the preperation mode. Let us hear testimonies of changed lives and favorite things that have happened. Maybe you have a couple of funny stories to tell as well.
- Tape must be no longer than 5 minutes in duration. Documentaries that go beyond the 5-minute limit will not be considered.
- Please be sure that the viewing and audio quality of the recorded material is excellent. When showing your documentary, we don't want viewers distracted by poor sound quality or a hazy/fuzzy picture.
- One tape may be submitted per studio/team.
- Tapes/DVDs must be labeled with studio/team name, director or owner, and the Dance Revolution location you will be attending.
- All videos must be submitted to Dance Revolution 30 days prior to the convention you will be attending. After that date, no entries will be considered.
- Your studio/team must have 15 registered attendees to enter this award (includes teachers and students, not observers).
- All tapes will become property of Dance Revolution once received, and will not be returned. They may be used for promotional purposes. By submitting your documentary to Dance Revolution, you are giving consent to Dance Revolution to use your documentary in a promotional manner.
- If DR does not receive at least 3 entires for a location, the winner will receive a certificate of recognition and the video will be played, but monies will not be awarded.
